Surf like it's the 60s; learn classic tricks with surf legends Chad and Brooke.
Journey back to a time when surfing was all about the ‘hotdogging' style of effortlessly gliding along with the wave, tucking into the curl and dancing up and down the length of the board. Tricks meant ‘hanging 5' or '10' toes over the end of your board, not the slashing and aerial maneuvers we see on today's shortboards. Surf the traditional way.
You will be taken to – not one, not two – but four of Santa Cruz's surf hotspots including Cowells, Steamer Lane and Capitola Jetty.
Our morning sessions will take you out into the ocean to watch the sunrise and lick the edges of the golden waves.
Ride or die with legends in the surf game Chad and Brooke.
Come together and meet likeminded people you will make life long friendships with.
Take some chill time in-between waves to explore the strip of beach side eateries. From Poke Bowls to Tacos.
Sample the Santa Cruz nightlife and party like a local. Find the best selection of clubs, lounges and bars to make the most of your nights and early mornings!
When it comes to classic surfing, there's no better guide than Chad and Brooke. They have collectively taught surfing for 15+ years to both beginners and advanced surfers.

Welcome to "surf city"
There’s a reason people call Santa Cruz “surf city”—Santa Cruz’s waves accommodate all levels of surfers, whether they charging big wave spots or just want to get their feet wet. Enjoy the local nightlife and local cuisine as well as exploring the different locations you will visit during the trip.
I am not a good swimmer. Can I still learn to surf ?
You need to be able to swim, but you don’t have to be a ‘very’ good swimmer. You will surf in the foam of the broken waves where the water is not very deep and you will be able to stand on your feet.
What do I need to bring?
Once you are booked in, we will send you a travel sheet with information on your holiday.
How do I get from the airport to Santa Cruz Central?
You can get the local train or organise a private transfer online.
What level of surfing do you need to be to attend?
We can accommodate all levels, from beginners to advanced levels. You will be split into two groups, so that you can learn at your own pace.
Take a tour around Santa Cruz's best record spots including a guided tour of the old jazz district.
